Lia's play Sitting and Talking, written specifically for the Zoom platform, was produced at theaters around the country during the Covid-19 pandemic. The premiere production, starring Wendie Malick and Dan Lauria, and directed by James Glossman, was produced by Hoboken's Mile Square Theatre, and the play was also produced at Laguna Playhouse, New Jersey Rep, Seven Devils New Play Foundry, the Valdez Theatre Conference, Cyrano's Theatre Company, Dreamcatcher Rep, and Mildred's Umbrella. NPR's Michele Willens called it "one of the nicest things I've streamed during this time... highly personal and relatable material about loss."
